My inspiration to write this book came when The Donald suddenly (2 years after the 2010 election) jumped on the bandwagon of certain groups questioning whether President Obama was really an American citizen.

The Donald pounced on this issue with unrestrained enthusiasm to (1) get much needed publicity for his ‘not-so-highly’ ranked (according to Nielsen) TV show “The Apprentice” and (2) test the waters for a possible run for the presidency without having to provide any specifics on his proposals for our country. For many months this farce deflected attention from the serious issues really facing our country today.

The Donald finally announced on May 16th that he had decided to remain a businessman and not seek the presidency even though all polls (according to him) were showing that he could win not only the Republican nomination but the general election as well.

What this really meant was that the killing of Bin Laden and the growingly heated debate over the budget and Social Security made any further discussions of President Obama’s birth certificate or education credentials seem ridiculous and absurd. Serious presidential contenders suddenly realized that they needed to start addressing the real issues important to most Americans, something The Donald seemed incapable of doing.

Make no mistake though! The Donald desperately wants to be president and might very well enter the presidential race as an Independent if the situation next year indicates that (1) he has a reasonable chance of winning and (2) he can avoid situations like interviews and debates during which he could look like a fool with some of his current political ideas.

Remember, the most important thing in life to The Donald is his all-encompassing ego!

After you have read the book, I would really like to hear your feedback, thoughts, and opinions, whether positive or negative. I realize that the book is quite short, but it had to be written and self-published quickly in order to maintain some relevancy in light of the dynamically changing nature of our political scene.
